The Negros Oriental 2 Electric Cooperative has announced that its General Manager, Eunora Y. Sameon, succumbed to cancer last Saturday, May 31. She was 59.
She served as GM for almost two years.
Sameon, a native of Baguio, was a Certified Public Accountant. She worked with the National Electrification Administration in Quezon City, and was eventually hired by Noreco 2 as systems analyst in 1981, after she married a Negrense.
Leovigildo Elmaco has been named Acting GM.
