In cooperation with the Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association Inc., National Association of General Managers of Electric Cooperatives and One EC-MCO Movement, the Negros Oriental II Electric Cooperative is implementing the Pantawid Liwanag program to subsidize the electricity consumption of lifeline customers for March billing.
Lifeline (residential) consumers are low-income end-users consuming from 1 to 20 kWh of electricity per month who cannot afford to pay their electricity bill at full cost.
The Pantawid Liwanag program is in support of the government in its efforts to assist those adversely impacted by the CoViD-19 crisis.
