NORSU, Congo U sign memo of agreement

The Negros Oriental State University and the Universite Libre des Pays des Grands Lacs (ULPGL) in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo signed a Memorandum of Agreement last week for an exchange of experts in geothermal science and for future research in natural sciences.

The signatories were NORSU President Dr. Henry A. Sojor and Dr. Kambale Karafuli, recteur.

Dr. Karafuli said that for instruction, the faculty of NORSU may teach English in ULPGL or learn/study French in Congo.

At the same time, ULPGL will send faculty and/or students from their university to learn English at NORSU and be involved in research cooperation in geothermal science, engineering, and other sciences.
