NORSU names outstanding alumni in educ, labor, govt

Negros Oriental State University has named three outstanding alumni for this year: Dr. Romula Loreta Santos-Aleta in the field of education; Director Edmund T. Mirasol for labor relations management; and Dumaguete City Councilor Nilo D. Sayson for local legislation and community service.

They will receive their outstanding alumni awards on Monday, Dec. 3 during the University convocation with Cong. Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara as guest of honor and speaker.

Dr. Aleta graduated valedictorian from then then East Visayan School of Arts & Trades (EVSAT) in 1960; Director Mirasol is an alumnus of EVSAT ’77; and Kagawad Sayson belonged to Batch ’93, Master of Public Management, Central Visayas Polytechnic College (CVPC). (Joy Perez/NORSU)
