NORSU presents researches in Singapore

Faculty from the Negros Oriental State University recently presented eight research papers at the National Institute of Education in Nanyang University in Singapore. The activity was in celebration of NIE’s Graduate Student Day with the theme Learning and Research: Believing and Achieving.

According to Dr. Guilbert Nicanor Atillo, director of the Office of Planning & Development, the faculty were also in Singapore to establish a partnership with NIE’s Office of Graduate Studies & Professional Learning. Leading the benchmarking team was Dr. Craig Refugio, dean of the NORSU Graduate School. Also with them were OIC President Dr. Peter Dayor, and Addily Utzurrum, secretary of the Board of Regents.

The researchers in mathematics were Arthur Macias, Craig Refugio, Jacel Angeline Lingcong and Mae Manahon; in education, Eugene Calingacion, Cesar Estrope, and Lelanie Estrope; in the psychology-related study, Chizanne Ridad; and in the food substance-related study, Froilan Ybanez and Dr. Dayot.
