We stick to the basics. Get it in the camera, not Photoshop. Underexpose. Saturate the colors. Watch your composition and depth of field.
We teach vision, sharpen styles and measure images for impact and emotion. We believe that every picture tells a story.
We scrape up cameras for those without, and we share lenses freely. We learn together and build relationships through photography. We become a community.
This is our fourth workshop, and these images are the result of an intensive one-week program. They convey the organic beauty of Dumaguete and Negros Oriental. Pretty pictures, one might say. We answer that it is for posterity — moments frozen in a chaotic and rapidly changing world.
We cherish our heritage. Our images plead for its survival.
Our community is growing, with members spreading ever farther, wider, to continue the work started here.
