Provl kids’ art contest deadline Aug. 19

The Youth Work & Education Committee of the YMCA of Negros Oriental announces the holding of the 11th Annual Provincial Children’s Art Drawing Contest on Aug. 20 at the Rizal Boulevard in Dumaguete.

The contest, open to children (7 to 12 years old) enrolled in public and private elementary schools, is an on-the-spot drawing activity designed to develop the artistic skill of the children in relation to development work.

According the Rafael Gadiane, chair of the YMCA Youth Work committee, registration of contestants is going on at the new office of YMCA Negros Oriental along Basagoite St. near Rovira East Road in barangay Bantayan in Dumaguete.

Deadline for registration is Wednesday, Aug. 19. (Greg Fernandez)
