TANJAY CITY — Plaza Central School here gave due recognition to 149 pupils who excelled in their respective classes in every grade level, as well as to pupils who have won in different competitions in the School, District, Division, and regional levels.
A recognition program was held March 26 at the school quadrangle. A total of 72 honor pupils and 77 special awardees in the SPED (FL) and Regular Classes from Grades I-VI received medals for their outstanding performances and accomplishments for school year 2011-2012.
Parents, teachers, the principal, guests and some of the donors of medals were present to witness the affair.
The ceremony, however, was cut short due to a heavy downpour. The awarding was continued before the graduation rites held March 28. (Gina Teresa S. Gabas)
