– We didn’t prepare for covid; are we prepared for “after covid”?

– Some say covid’s like a tsunami: destructive, deadly, multi-crested; are we seeing, treating, and fighting it as such?

– Covid can’t be killed; the economy could be; and people die from covid, or if the economy dies; what must be done? Dumaguete’s dispersing markets, reducing congestions; barangay Daro’s promoting itinerant selling, allowing people in quarantine to avoid going too far outside; Bayawan’s seems best: don’t give goods, give cash, then get sellers to go around vending their goods; people staying home yet able to buy the things they need; social distancing observed yet also agitating the economy.

Question: how might all these get fused into a synergy of best LGU practices?
