Second District Representative and Negros Oriental State University Regent Manuel T. Sagarbarria says he plans to convince NORSU officials to relocate all its undergraduate course offerings to its Bajumbandan campus.

Sagarbarria told the MetroPost that aside from utilizing the Bajumpandan campus which is “very conducive for learning”, the move will help decongest the streets of Dumaguete City of traffic.

Sagarbarria was named NORSU regent in October, representing the House of Representatives.

He said he will bring up this suggestion in the next meeting of the NORSU Board of Regents.

“The present NORSU campus in the Capitol area may hold graduate and post-graduate courses, and could also house all other University offices,” he said.
