Rep. Manuel Sagarbarria (2nd District, Negros Oriental) has assured that he will strive to bring in more projects, not just for his congressional district, but for the entire Province.
For infrastructure projects alone, Rep. Sagarbarria disclosed Thursday that he has obtained some P1.27 billion already in his first four months in office as a congressman.
And there is more coming, from the Senate this time, Sagarbarria, a member of the House Committee on Appropriations, added.
Sen. Allan Peter Cayetano has promised to give no less than P15-million for multi-purpose buildings, the congressman disclosed.
“And from the Department of Education, for 2017 we will be constructing 119 school buildings, which would amount to about a billion pesos”, Sagarbarria further disclosed.
The 2nd District engineering 0ffice of the Department of Public Works & Highways will be undertaking construction of the said school buildings, according to the Solon.
This year, there’s just a number of projects being implemented from the 2016 budget but more projects will take off in 2017, he assured.
This month, about eight projects that will be up for bidding so that these can be implemented next year at the earliest time possible, the Negros Oriental Solon said. (PNA)
