The University of San Carlos School of Business & Economics in Cebu City and St. Paul University Dumaguete signed a memorandum of agreement to collaborate in offering a Master of Science in Accountancy major in Management Accounting in trimesters, starting this school year.
Signed by San Carlos’ Fr. Dionisio Miranda, and St. Paul President Sr. Nintha Lucilla Baldado, the MS in Accountaincy will offer a total of 42 units, with 36 units to be conducted at the St. Paul Dumaguete campus, and the remaining six units on Comprehensive Exam, Thesis Writing, and Accounting Research to be held at the University of San Carlos in Cebu.
The offering of the degree program aims to provide relevant, timely, and transformative accounting education, specifically management accounting that is responsive to the needs of the local, national, and global communities in a rapidly changing world; develop competent and socially-responsible accounting professionals and life-long learners to meet the needs of the accounting profession with a broader and extensive training in research; and to provide a venue for accountants seeking advancement of specialization in their professional fields.
All applicants can submit their scanned transcript of records to [email protected] for evaluation. Testing fee is P300.00. Admission/entrance test, including interview and submission of other documents, will be scheduled prior to the opening of classes.
