So for Here and Now PH’s recent adventure, we have Solaj Dive & Beach Resort as our subject.

Solaj has always been our family’s favorite go-to place, whether it be celebrating intimate events or a random beach outing.

It’s a small resort with a well-maintained garden and a peaceful atmosphere that makes a perfect relaxing experience.

Accommodation is always the highlight for every staycation, and they always hit the mark with excellent service and attentive staff.

They have a wonderful display of a decent-sized pool showcasing a conspicuous view of Apo Island at the center of painted pastel skies that is picture-perfect in one click.

Their food always hits the spot. I suggest their platters when you go as a family or group, that serves a little bit of everything to enjoy from — shrimps, fried chicken, grilled pork, calamares, and rice.

Entrance fee is just P200 and is consumable. And if you want to beat the heat, pool use is only at P150.

Villa rooms vary from P2,000 good for two people, and loft villa for P6,000 good for four people, with breakfast for each.

If you want to go and enjoy the place all to yourselves, it is best to go on weekdays.

Solaj is about a 30-minute drive from the center of Dumaguete City.

They also offer SCUBA diving services, massage services, and catering services.

For more info and inquiries, you can call them at 0915-305-0011.
