The Foundation University Broadcast Communications Department held its first iPadayag Film Festival on Oct. 3 at the James B. Herring Audio Visual Room of Foundation University.
The event was part of the celebration of the College of Arts and Sciences—Department of Architecture & Fine Arts Month.
The competition was open to all Foundation Preparatory Academy students where the main criteria was to create a video with the use of iPads, to showcase the skills and talents of the students, while highlighting the use of the device in education.
Foundation University is on its seventh year of its iPad program, utilizing it as a tool for education in lieu of textbooks and notebooks.
Winners: Best Film- Senior High; Best in Cinematography- Grade 10 Simplicity; Best Director- Marco Simpao (Senior High); Best Actor- Grade 10 Dignity (Group Performance)
