Silliman University High School will celebrate its centennial in August 2016.
Activities are lined up for next year’s celebration which will be launched with a service at Silliman Church on Aug. 22, 2015.
The committee is holding a flea market on Aug. 1 at the CBA parking area as a supporting activity to raise funds for next year’s celebration.
The flee market activity will be participated by the different Classes of Silliman High School, and by the various entrepreneurs in the Dumaguete community.
The Silliman High School Centennial Committee is headed by Atty. Grace Sumalpong, a member of the Board of Trustees of the University. Vice Chairman is Judge Arlene Dato. Chairpersons of the different committees are Rosewell Cataylo, Josie Sy-Limkaichong, Ruben Bokingo, Brenda Boladola, Marcelita Pascual, Dr. Elizabeth Heceta-Moleta, Jocelyn Somoza-dela Cruz, Mark Garcia, and Nicanor Tagle.
