Taguig City gives P100K for victims

Dumaguete City Manuel Sagarbarria received a P100,000 check from the City Government of Taguig as donation for the victims of tropical storm “Sendong” that badly hit Dumaguete City Dec. 17 last year.

Taguig City Councilor Jimmy Labampa and Councilor Ricardo Jordan, treasurer of the Councilors League of the Philippines, handed over the financial assistance in behalf Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano.

Councilor Labampa said they hope their contribution can help the City government rebuild houses for the victims.

To date, the City government of Dumaguete has received more than P5 million in financial assistance for the storm victims. (PIO)
