“Powered by grass” is how President Dr. Ben S. Malayang III describes the Silliman tartanilya that runs on four wheels and is equipped with a disk brake. It can comfortably seat four people at one time.
Silliman hopes to bring back the environment-friendly horse-drawn mode of transportation, not only on campus but also around Dumaguete City.
