Teleperformance Philippines appoints SU alumna as COO

Silliman Mass Com alumna, Tanya Angela Calo Famador, was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Teleperformance in the Philippines on May 16, 2024.

Famador was Executive Vice President (EVP) for Travel and Hospitality before her recent appointment. She brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in operational excellence, strategic planning, and leadership, making her promotion a valuable boost to Teleperformance Philippines.

In the Teleperformance Organizational Announcement, Famador was cited for her 21 years of experience in the business process outsourcing industry, most of which with Teleperformance Philippines. She has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of operational dynamics and a commitment to driving efficiency and growth. Her expertise in people, process, and client management, as well as unparalleled business acumen, has led to significant achievements from her past and present roles in the BPO industry.

As Teleperformance COO, Famador will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless integration across all departments and aligning operational strategies with overall business goals. Her leadership will be instrumental in driving continued growth and enhancing the company’s operational efficiencies.

During her Silliman college days, Tanya Angela C. Famador, was an honor student, president of the Kapunungan sa mga Mass Communicators, a member of the Corps of Campus Ambassadors, and of the Campus Choristers. She was also a Political Science Best Debater/Best Speaker. She graduated from Silliman University with a Bachelor of Mass Communications degree in 2002.

Tanya is also a loving mother of two and a proficient rescue diver. She is a pioneer in women empowerment in Teleperformance Philippines and a founding member of TP Women in the country. (SU Media & Affairs)
