The 2012 Miss Dumaguete candidates showed their special skills and talents during Wednesday’s Talent Night Competition held at the Robinsons Mall.

The candidates showcased their talents to the Board of Judges comprised of Dr. Elizabeth Susan Vista-Suarez, Manolito Saldivar, Jacqueline Veloso-Antonio, Dr. Maria Cecilia Genove, and chaired by Dr. Henry A. Sojor.

The contestants sang, danced, painted, and played musical instruments.

The top five candidates were Griffith Irish Marchan, Frances Claire Vintola, Almond Leslie Zabat, Monica Infante Bartsch, and Theriz Gay Kilat.

The winner for the talent competition will be announced during the Coronation Night on Nov. 23 at 8 pm at the Lamberto Macias Sports & Cultural Complex.

Also present during the event were Glynda T. Descuatan, convenor of the Dumaguete Fiesta 2012, Tourism Officer Woodrow Maquiling Jr., Naddie May Orillana who is vice chair of the Miss Dumaguete Committee, members of the City Council, members of the Fiesta 2012 Executive Committee, the Dumaguete City Tourism Council, and Maisa Longa-Sagarbarria, wife of Mayor Chiquiting Sagarbarria.
