The search for the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines Region VII 2013 has officially begun. Higher Education Institutions can now nominate graduating students who are outstanding in leadership, social responsibility, and academics. Colleges and universities should send their nominations on or before April 1.

The designated office for Negros Oriental and Siquijor is The Great Physician Rehabilitation Foundation Inc. located at St. Louis Village, Bagacay. TOSP nomination forms can be downloaded at www.tospac.org.

A screening will be done to determine the Top 20 finalists who will undergo a three-day formation workshop and final interview on May 20-23, in Tagbilaran City.

TOSP is an awards and formation program that seeks to galvanize the youth into nation building through exemplary academic performance, change-making social involvement, and inspiring leadership services to their school, local communities, and the country. Since 1961, TOSP has been a laboratory of great leaders. Its roster include Bishop Antonio Ledesma, Rene Saguisag, Raul Roco, Vicky Pineda-Garchitorena, Ricardo Puno, and Dr. Patricia Licuanan. (PR)
