The issue of the Sin Tax Bill will take center stage at 7 p.m. on October 5 when debaters from the University of San Carlos test their mettle with Foundation University debaters at the Sofia Soller Sinco Hall at the FU Main Campus.

Dubbed as the 2012 Grand Debate between FU and USC, the debate is an activity of the FU Student Government and the Saceda Youth Lead. Admission is P20.

The topic of the Sin Tax Bill was chosen because it is creating quite a controversy at this time, explained Kriss Michael Abadia Tubog, coach of the FU Debating Team.

The members of the FU Debating Team are Allan Hadormeo of the College of Business Administration, Ona Bengoechea of the College of Nursing, Robbie Austin Vailoces of the College of Computer Studies and Cyril Mapula of the College of Arts and Sciences.
