CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — The feature articles by Jackie Veloso on the Buglasan were so beautifully-written.
As I was reading them, I could hear the words of my Dad Prodi Sirilan and Tito Bobby Villasis recounting this story over and over during their inuman nights at home — with Tito Nene Wutrich, and the rest of the gang.
I could literally hear my Dad’s voice in the articles. Like in the article, “it gave me goosebumps”.
The details of the story were so vivid that they brought memories of my own childhood, and how this Buglasan origin story was told to us by the Greats. Thank you!
