We need to change the system

By 3 a.m. dawn, we were at the Land Transportation Office-Negros Oriental at the Capitol area to fall in line for my grand daughter’s Student Permit for driving.

I can’t understand why people have to fall in line at dawn to get a priority number just to avail of government services.

This “system” has been going on for quite sometime now. Most other applicants there were also complaining, and yet, there doesn’t seem to have any improvements in government efficiency in the delivery of services.

We need to call the attention of LTO so they can find solutions to the problem (if they have not noticed it yet) to solve this unprofessional and very inconvenient “system”.

If the government office can only attend to a certain number of licensing applicants, perhaps this can be done by appointment online? That way, people won’t  have to crowd there when it’s not their turn, and mostly, people won’t have to queue for at least five hours at dawn, and expose them to so many dangers.
