Would it make a difference if you knew when the end will come?

If you knew for sure that the ‘ hour of judgement ‘ would not happen for a few more years, would that change your outlook in life? If you think the end of this wicked system of things is later than what you expected, would you allow this to slow down your belief and service to God?

If ones knows the exact time of execution of divine judgment , one might think of serving God later and do crazy things for now because he/she would have more time to repent and ask forgiveness as the end draws near. But a last-minute display of zeal would not impress God who sees what our heart is, according to the Bible.

Our not knowing when the hour of God’s judgment will come gives us the chance to show that we serve God truly and out of pure motives. And that for those who truly love God, He always comes first. A true Christian is always delighted to do God’s will and would not mind when the time will come but always think that when it happens God will spare him from the great destruction.
