Preparations are underway for the award recognition ceremonies of the 2024 YMCA Community Student Award Program which will be held on May 18 at 1:30 pm at the YMCA Guest House & Conference Center in barangay Talay here.
To be honored during the ceremonies are 100 senior high school graduates who are Student Excellence awardees; and 100 college graduates who are Outstanding Student awardees.
Deadline for submission of the official list of nominee-awardees is on May 15 at the YMCA office in Talay.
The Community Student Awards Program of the Negros Oriental YMCA has been going on since 1989, with over 5,000 awardees from public and private high schools, colleges, and universities in Negros Oriental honored and recognized the past 34 years. (Gregg G. Fernandez Jr.)
