About 100 under-privileged children coming from depressed communities in Dumaguete City and the immediate neighboring towns will be gathered in a 3-day live-in Christmas Camp for Under-privileged Children to be sponsored by the YMCA of Negros Oriental on December 22-24, 2019 at the YMCA Guest House & Conference Center in Talay, Dumaguete City.

During the live-in Camp, the children will be exposed to life values lectures, ecumenical worship, skills training, campfire and cultural programs, sports and recreations and other group interest activities. Then, at break camp, the children will bring home Christmas Gift Package of food items such as Rice, bread, coffee, milo, can goods, apple, candies and other food items.

The Christmas Camp for Under-privileged Children has been going on annually for the last 3 decades under the auspices of the YMCA of Negros Oriental in partnership with local generous groups, donors and YMCA Members. More than 2000 under-privileged children had been beneficiaries of this YMCA Program. (Greg Fernandez)
