The president of the Negros Oriental State University was one of the keynote speakers in a five-day conference in the city of Accra, capital of Ghana in Africa.

Dr. Henry A. Sojor was invited to share his vast experience in state university leadership and administration, and as professor of higher education, local governance, and community development. Sojor’s keynote aimed to focus on Leadership: Problems and Prospects; and Issues and Challenges of Africa’s Development, as viewed by an Asian educational leader.

He was a guest of the International Organization for Sustainable Development in Nigeria, which fosters inter-cultural dialogue, and facilitates access to world class higher education especially in the developing nations of Africa and the Pacific.
