St. Paul University Dumaguete, one of the top performing schools in the country today offering the degree of BS Nursing, ranked 8th in the July 3, 2010 Nurses Licensure Examination with a 97.28 percent passing rate. According to Rafael Duhaylungsod, SPUD director for External Affairs, the SPUD administration, fculty, staff and the entire Paulinian community are delighted about the nursing examination result.
He added that aside from SPUD, St. Paul University Manila also ranked 10th in the Range 2 Category with 100 to 999 takers. St. Paul University Iloilo ranked 1st in the Range 3 Category with 68 takers, that is 100 percent passing rate.
Duhaylungsod said that currently, the SPUD College of Nursing is conducting review classes for nursing graduates who are scheduled to take their examination in December under the supervision of Francis Marven Lee R. Pintac, and Cliford Kilat, Review coordinators.
The SPUD congratulates its College of Nursing for the achievement, speci cally to its dean, Sr. Mila Grace A. Silab, SPC, as well as to the Management team: Prof. Maybelle R. Lacdo-o, RN, MAN, academic coordinator; Prof. Ma. Irene Jane L. Pueyo, RN, MAN, Graduate School coordinator; and Josephine T. Saycon, RN, clinical coordinator.
