As the summer heat is intensifying, so is the training of athletes bound for the Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association  (CVRAA).

This week is supposed to be the peak of their training block.

Unfortunately, some coaches are still training for accreditation, while the other coaches are still trying to grasp even up to now the ins and outs of the sports they have been assigned to by the Department of Education, especially in areas that lack well-trained coaches.

There is a need for a series of enhancement trainings and certifications to level up the playing field.

Sporting coaches (who are our professional teachers who have been assigned as well as coaches) must undergo fitness and sports seminars to be competent in their current roles.

Together, let us embrace change to keep up with the ever-changing landscape in the sports realm.
