Nipasidaan ang Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration sa mas init pang panahon sa pagsulod sa buwan sa Marso ug Abril.

Matud pa ni Anthony Lucero, Chief sa Climate Monitoring and Prediction Section sa PAGASA, ang masinating mas init nga panahon tungod sa pag-igo sa El Nino phenomenon sa nasud.

Sa pagkakaron, padayon nilang gi-monitor ang mga apektadong lugar sa nasud ilabi na sa Mindanao nga grabeng naapektuhan sa huwaw.

Matud pa nga gibantayan nila ang mga lugar nga wala na nakasinati og pag-ulan sulod sa tulo hangtud upat ka semana.

Giingong mas mo-grabe pa ang init nga panahon pagsulod sa summer season tungod sa epekto sa grabeng ting-huwaw.

Samtang sa Hunyo o Hulyo pa giingong mahibaw-an kun adunay La Niña o wala.
 

Gipasabot ni Lucero nga kun adunay grabeng El Niño, posibleng mosunod niini ang kusog nga La Niña.
