Hugot pa gihapong gipatuman ang Commission on Election gun ban sa tibuok nasod.

Kini ang gipahinumdom sa mga Bol-anon ni Police Superintendent Ricky Deliles, Public Information Officer sa Bohol Provincial Police Office.

Matud pa ni Deliles, epektibo gihapon ang gun ban taman Hunyo 8, 2016, 30 ka adlaw human sa eleksyon o pagtapos sa election period nga nagsugod niadtong Enero 10, 2016.

Bisan natapos na ang piniliay niadtong Mayo 9, bawal gihapon ang pagdala ug pag-byahe sa mga pusil ug uban pang maka-patay nga mga armas sa mga pampublikong lugar, lisensyado man o dili.

Posibleng mabilanggo sa dili mo-ubos sa usa ka tuig apan dili molapas sa unom ka tuig ang dili mosunod sa election gun ban.

May pagsaka sa gidaghanon sa mga milapas sa gun ban ang natala sa kapolisan dinhi sa lalawigan diin kasagarang na-aresto nalambigit sa pagpamaligya ug pagpayuhot sa ilegal nga droga. (PIA)
